    • An electric cooking assembly includes a main body portion that defines a cooking area. First and second cooking surfaces are contained within the cooking area. A first electric heating element arranged to provide heat to at least a portion of the first cooking surface, and a second electric heating element is arranged to heat at least a portion of the second cooking surface. The main body portion may include first and second hood members. The first hood member defines the cooking area and the second hood member is positioned at least partially within the cooking area and configured to decrease heat lost from the cooking assembly during preparation of food products in the cooking area. The second hood member is configured for adjustment between an open position providing access to the cooking surface and a closed position covering at least a portion of the cooking surface.

    • A standoff arm and probe assembly for a helicopter has a standoff mounting arm that extends outwardly from the helicopter body in a selected direction, preferably forwardly. The standoff arm has an outer end that mounts a low lateral speed sensing probe that is positioned with an axis substantially parallel to the axis of a helicopter rotor, and within the downwash region of air movement causes by the rotor. The low lateral speed sensing probe has ports that are arranged annularly around the probe, and the pressures sensed at selected annular or peripheral locations on the probe are measured to determine low air speeds. Additionally, the standoff arm can mount a plurality of other sensors such as a pitot pressure probe extending forwardly from the arm, a lateral pressure sensing probe along a lateral side of the arm, and the arm can mount outside air temperature sensors, ice detectors, and total air temperature sensors, if desired.

    • Methods and apparatus are provided for such uses as attaching grafts of tubing (e.g., lengths of saphenous vein) between sites in a patient's body via the patient's existing arteries and veins. Grafts may be held in place during graft delivery using a partially inflated proximal balloon and a partially inflated distal balloon which frictionally engage axially spaced portions of the graft (e.g., pronged attachment rings that pierce the graft adjacent its ends). After aligning the distal balloon and distal end of the graft with the distal attachment site, the distal balloon may be further inflated to help attach the distal end of the graft to the distal attachment site (e.g., by driving the prongs of the distal attachment ring into the distal attachment site). The proximal balloon may then be inflated to similarly help attach the proximal end of the graft to the proximal attachment site. The balloons are deflated to facilitate withdrawal of the apparatus from the installed graft. The insertion instrument allows the distance between the distal and proximal balloons to be adjusted, thereby accommodating grafts of various lengths. The separation between distal and proximal balloons may be fixed or substantially fixed using a locking mechanism.
