    • PURPOSE: A solar battery and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce manufacturing costs of the solar battery by repetitively using a silicon wafer in which a plurality of holes is formed on the surface. CONSTITUTION: A front side electric field unit(171) is formed at the front side of a crystalline semiconductor substrate(110). An anti-reflection unit(130) is formed at the front side of the front side electric field unit. An emitter unit(121) is formed at the rear side of the front side electric field unit. A first electrode(141) is formed at the rear side of the emitter unit. A rear side electric field unit(172) is formed at the rear side of the crystalline semiconductor substrate. A second electrode(142) is formed at the rear side of the rear side electric field unit.
