    • Disclosed are an improved structure for an air vent head of a ballast tank and a cleaning method using the same which are provided to efficiently and finally clean the inside of a manufactured ballast tank before a ship is transferred to a ship owner after manufacturing of the ballast tank is completed. A jig for an air vent head of a ballast tank is mounted on the air vent head of the ballast tank to clean the inside of the ballast tank and comprises a jig body which covers and seals an upper entrance of the air vent head; and a nipple which is provided on the jig body and sprays air into the ballast tank. Meanwhile, the cleaning method using the jig for an air vent head performs a cleaning process comprising opening a covering member which covers the upper entrance of the air vent head of a ballast tank; combining the jig which includes the nipple at the upper entrance of the air vent head to be sealed; and supplying air through the nipple into the ballast tank. Accordingly, the method prevents pressure loss occurring during an air blowing process, can clean the inside of the ballast tank by enough pressure, selects and uses the jig of proper size and form using a structure of the air vent head, efficiently performs a cleaning work, and reduces working and inspecting hours.

    • PURPOSE: Compressed air supply device and method of a floating marine structure are provided to reduce the material and equipment costs and the design and production costs by eliminating the need for a compressed air supply system. CONSTITUTION: A compressed air supply device of a floating marine structure comprises a liquefied gas storage tank(11), a nitrogen gas generator(13), a compressor(25) and a feeding line(26). The liquefied gas storage tank accepts the liquefied gas of a ultralow temperature. The nitrogen gas generator substitutes the gas existing in the liquefied gas storage tank. The compressor compresses the air provided to the nitrogen gas generator. The feeding line supplies the air compresses by the compressor to the liquefied gas storage tank. The feeding line is extended to the inside of the liquefied gas storage tank. The feeding line is branched to a plurality of lines. The feeding line supplies the compresses air to pneumatic equipment(28), which needs the compressed air.
