    • PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a high voltage capacitor is provided to lower the temperature coefficient of capacitance, thereby providing high pressure and high reliability to the capacitor. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a high voltage capacitor includes: winding steps (S110,S112) of forming a cylindrical body having a certain size with winding mica papers and metal foils which are alternately laminated and are aligned; a vacuum impregnation step (S114) of sequentially implementing a de-foaming vacuum process, a resin impregnating process, and a positive pressure impregnating process; a heating and compressing step (S116) of maintaining a compressing condition at 0.1 to 0.6kg/cm^2 for 20 minutes at a temperature of 60 to 80°C and for 60 minutes at a temperature of 140 to 180°C; a curing step (S118) of curing for 4 to 12 hours at 140 to 200°C; and steps (S120,S122) of manufacturing the capacitor with soldering and molding a wire. The de-foaming vacuum process is implemented on the body for 60 to 180 minutes. In the resin impregnating process, at least one impregnant of epoxy, silicon, and polyester is injected and a vacuum condition is maintained for 30 to 180 minutes. In the positive pressure impregnating process, a certain pressure-applied condition is maintained for 30 to 270 minutes. The capacitor container(1) is composed of a container main body portion and a lid portion for mounting the bushing(4), and in the lid portion, the hole for aeration and filling the perfluorocarbon liquid is formed, and it is structured in such a manner that, when the hole is stopped up by the plug(7), the sealing property is greatly increased.
