    • PURPOSE: A magnesium chloride fused salt electrolyzer for manufacturing metal magnesium is provided to improve current efficiency and working safety by consecutively supplying electrolyte which becomes extinct. CONSTITUTION: A magnesium chloride fused salt electrolyzer for manufacturing metal magnesium comprises a housing(10), a plurality of vertical barriers(20), a horizontal barrier(30), a graphite anode(40), and an iron cathode(50). The housing is composed of a magnesium chloride electrolytic tank storage main body member(11), and a cover(12). The horizontal barrier is composed of left, right, and center horizontal barriers(31,32,33). The left, right, and center horizontal barriers are installed at the same depth with the vertical barrier and a material input tank(B1) and a chlorine gas generating tank(B2) are formed. The center horizontal barrier is installed shallower than the vertical barrier and a magnesium recovery tank(B3) and a magnesium production tank. The graphite anode is installed on the hydrochloric acid gas generating tank. The iron cathode is installed on the magnesium production tank.
