    • The present invention relates to an oxy-nitrided brake disk for noise reduction and a manufacturing method thereof, wherein the oxy-nitrided brake disk comprises: a diffusion layer formed inside the base material of the brake disk by nitro-carburizing the base material; a nitrided layer formed on the diffusion layer; and an oxidized layer formed on the nitrided layer by oxidizing the base material of the brake disk. The oxy-nitrided brake disk includes a ground oxy-nitrided layer formed by grinding the entire oxidized layer and a part of the nitrided layer, which are formed by an oxy-nitriding process, thereby reducing noise such as grinding noise generated when a brake pad rubs on a braking surface at the time of braking.

    • PURPOSE: A light weight guard rail is provided, which is treated by nitriding or nitrocarburising to improve the glossiness and corrosion resistance. CONSTITUTION: A light weight guard rail(100) comprises a compound layer, an anti-fingerprint resin coating layer, and an oxide layer. The compound layer comprises a nitride layer and/or a nitrocarburised layer, wherein the nitride layer is formed on the surface of a metal material through simultaneous nitridation-oxidation process. The anti-fingerprint resin coating layer is formed in the compound layer. The oxide layer is formed on the compound layer through a post oxidizing process following in the nitridation process.

    • A method for processing a surface of a plate for a baking mold is provided to form a hard carbon layer and a soft nitride layer one after the other so that the surface of the plate becomes smooth and maintains hardness of the surface of the plate for the baking mold. A method for processing a surface of a plate for a baking mold comprises the following steps. A plate for a baking mold is put inside a furnace and a temperature of the furnace is risen and maintained(i). The temperature of the furnace is dropped for a non-oxidizing atmosphere(ii). A small amount of carbon dioxide and ammonia gas are supplied into the furnace while the temperature of the furnace is risen again in order to form a hard carbon layer on the surface of the plate(iii).
