    • 본 발명은 메탄으로부터 염화비닐을 제조하는 방법에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 천연가스의 주성분인 메탄을 반응촉매의 존재하에 옥시클로리네이션(oxychlorination) 반응 및 열분해 반응시켜 에틸렌을 포함하는 올레핀을 생성하고, 이어서 상기 올레핀으로부터 분리된 에틸렌을 옥시클로리네이션 반응 및 열분해 반응시켜 염화비닐을 생성시키는 과정으로 이루어진 염화비닐의 제조방법을 제공한다.
      본 발명에 따른 염화비닐의 제조방법에서는 상기 옥시클로리네이션 반응 및 열분해 반응의 촉매로서 활성이 더욱 개선된 촉매를 사용함으로써 전환율 및 선택도를 증가시킬 수 있으며, 메탄의 옥시클로리네이션 반응 및 에틸렌의 옥시클로리네이션 반응을 동일한 촉매를 사용하여 하나의 반응기 또는 두개의 상이한 반응기를 이용하여 수행할 수 있으므로 반응을 단순화시키고 제조비용을 절감할 수 있다.

    • Provided is a method for preparing vinyl chloride from methane to improve conversion rate and selectivity, to simplify reaction and to lower manufacturing cost. The method comprises the steps of reacting a first reactant comprising methane, air and a chloride compound in the presence of a catalyst by oxychlorination to prepare a first product containing methyl chloride; reacting the first product in the presence of a catalyst by pyrolysis to prepare a second product containing ethylene; separating ethylene from the second product and reacting the separated ethylene with a second reactant comprising air and a chloride compound in the presence of a catalyst by oxychlorination to prepare a third product containing 1,2-dichloroethane; reacting the third product in the presence of a catalyst by pyrolysis to prepare a fourth product containing vinyl chloride; and separating vinyl chloride from the fourth product.

    • A method for preparing a vinyl chloride monomer is provided to increase the conversion from ethylene into 1,2-dichloroethylene(1,2-DCE), to avoid a need for an additional purification device for separating 1,2-DCE from byproducts including CO2, and to solve the problem of corrosion of a reactor and degradation of a catalyst. A method for preparing a vinyl chloride monomer comprises the steps of: (i) oxidizing a catalyst in the presence of oxygen and HCl; (ii) carrying out chlorination of ethylene in the presence of the oxidized catalyst to obtain 1,2-dichloroethane; (iii) introducing 1,2-dichloroethane into a circulating fluidized bed reactor, and contacting 1,2-dichloroethane with pyrolyzing solid catalyst particles by flowing them upwardly to pyrolyze 1,2-dichloroethane into vinyl chloride and HCl and to obtain a pyrolysis product mixture containing vinyl chloride; and (iv) purifying the pyrolysis product mixture to obtain a vinyl chloride monomer, wherein the pyrolyzing solid catalyst particles used in step (iii) are separated from the pyrolysis product mixture and regenerated through heat treatment.
