The speed reducer for railcar with a moisture mixing prevention structure comprises: a speed reducer housing (100) for accommodating gears therein; a power transmission shaft (200) mounted in the speed reducer housing (100) and connected to a power generator of a railcar; a wheel shaft (300) mounted in the speed reducer housing (100) and connected to a wheel of the railcar; a plurality of bearings (400) mounted in the speed reducer housing to support the power transmission shaft (200) and the wheel shaft (300); a sealing member (500) mounted on the outer periphery of the power transmission shaft (200) or the wheel shaft (300) to be rotated with the power transmission shaft (200) or the wheel shaft (300); a cover member (600) positioned on the outer side of the bearings (400) to form a maze structure portion (M) together with the sealing member (500); and a moisture indraft prevention structure (700) mounted on the cover member (600) outside the maze structure portion (M) and being in contact with an outer portion (510) of the sealing member (500) positioned outside the maze structure portion (M) to prevent moisture from flowing into the maze structure portion (M).
