    • PURPOSE: Provided is a method for immobilizing anti-thrombus protein on a PTFE surface using the plasma process without using a chemical solvent to effectively inhibit or delay thrombus formation. CONSTITUTION: The method includes the steps of inducing a gas for generating plasma to generate plasma; adding a carboxyl group to polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE); dipping the resulting PTFE in a buffer solution containing an enzymatic polymerization catalyst and an anti-thrombus protein for covalent bonding via the carboxyl group to immobilize the anti-thrombus protein on the PTFE surface. The plasma is generated using an RF plasma generator, DC discharge, micro-wave and the like. The gas for generating plasma is selected from argon, carbon dioxide, oxygen, moisture, hydrogen peroxide, acrylic acid and ammonia. The anti-thrombus protein is selected from lumbrokinase, heparin, hirudin, albumin and lipoprotein.
