摘要： A sheet feed type scanner capable of separating and discharging three sheet types is provided to separate inputted sheets into a normal sheet, a bad check sheet, and an envelope, and discharge the inputted sheets according to each sheet type. A lower direction switch driver(150) rotates a lower feeding direction switch to open/close a feeding path to a rear discharge slot(110c) by a first control signal received from a microcomputer. An upper direction switch driver rotates an upper feeding direction switch to open/close the feeding path to a bad check discharge slot(110b) by a second control signal received from the microcomputer. The microcomputer outputs the second control signal to the upper direction switch driver when the fed check is determined as the bad check based on a scanning image received from a sensor unit(125), and outputs the first control signal to the lower direction switch driver when the envelope is fed.
