摘要： 본 발명은 공개 브로드캐스트 암호화(public broadcast encryption)를 이용하여 그룹에 속해 있는 디바이스간의 상호 인증 및 컨텐츠의 재생을 수행하는 방법 및 장치에 관한 것으로, 제2 디바이스로부터 제2 디바이스의 고유 정보를 획득하는 단계와 획득한 제2 디바이스의 고유 정보와 제1 디바이스의 고유 정보를 포함하는 데이터를 제2 디바이스가 속한 그룹의 브로드캐스트 공개키로 암호화하여 전송하는 단계와 전송된 데이터를 제2 디바이스의 개인키로 복호화함으로써 제1 디바이스의 인증이 성공하면, 복호화된 데이터를 이용한 임시키로 암호화된 제1 디바이스의 고유 정보를 수신하는 단계와 수신된 제1 디바이스의 고유 정보를 데이터를 이용한 임시키로 복호화하여 제2 디바이스의 인증을 수행하는 단계를 포함함으로써, 컨텐츠 제공자의 확장성(scalability)이 보장되고 브로드캐스트 암호화를 이용하여 효율적으로 상호 공통키(common key)를 획득하게 되고, 양방향 폐지 기능(revocation)을 지원할 수가 있다.

摘要： An apparatus and a method for providing a broadcasting service in a mobile communication system are provided to prevent an authorized user from watching some multimedia broadcast programs by executing an authentication process for a multimedia broadcast program requiring conditional access in the case of using a broadcasting service through a mobile terminal. A mobile communication system, which provides a broadcasting service, consists of a mobile terminal(100) and a multimedia broadcasting server(120). If a message to indicate the start of a broadcast program requiring an authentication process is received, the mobile terminal executes the authentication process. If the authentication process is successful, the mobile terminal outputs the broadcasting program. In case the authentication process fails, the mobile terminal stops the output of the broadcast program. If a broadcast change to provide the next broadcast program is confirmed after the present broadcast program, which is being provided to the mobile terminal, is completed, the multimedia broadcasting server confirms whether an authentication process is required for the next broadcast program. If required, the multimedia broadcasting server transmits a message to notify the mobile terminal that the next broadcast program requires the authentication process. An authentication management unit(104) compares personal authentication information provided from a controller(102) with the authentication information stored at the memory(106) of the mobile terminal, and confirms whether or not a user of the mobile terminal can watch a multimedia broadcasting.
