A signal detector detects a derivative waveform variation of a signal derived from the second pattern(32).

    • PURPOSE: A multichannel electrostatic capacity touch sensor is provided to install a multichannel electrostatic capacity touch sensor in a small place by removing a proximity sensing pad. CONSTITUTION: A capacitance variation sensing block(31) outputs the capacitance variation rate of each touch pad by sensing the capacitance variation rate when an object approached a plurality of touch pads. A capacitance variation adding up block(32) adds up the capacitance variation rate of each touch pad outputted from the capacitance variation sensing block. A proximity sensing block(33) compares the capacitance variation sum value gotten from the capacitance variation adding up block with a predetermined proximity sensing reference value. The proximity sensing block outputs a proximity sensing signal according to the comparison result. A microcontroller outputs the signal to the outside by receiving the proximity sensing signal of the proximity sensing block.
