CONSTITUTION: A surface acoustic wave filter system includes a package(10) and a shield portion(50). A circuit including a surface acoustic wave filter(40) is installed in inside of the package in order to protect and array the circuit. The shield portion shields particular signals which is directly transmitted from an input portion to an output portion instead of the surface acoustic wave filter. The shield portion is formed with a metal plate which is connected to an external earth portion. The shield portion is provided to a lid of the package.

    • PURPOSE: A noise eliminating structure of a SAW(Surface Acoustic Wave) filter is provided to prevent the noise generated upon filtering signals by increasing area from a cross region of fingers to a region of a ground electrode. CONSTITUTION: An input electrode(42) is comprised of a signal electrode(42a) and a ground electrode(42b). The signal electrode(42a) and the ground electrode(42b) are disposed in parallel on a piezoelectric substrate(30). An input IDT(InterDigital Transducer)(40) is comprised of a plurality of input fingers(41). An output electrode(52) is comprised of signal and ground electrodes(52a,52b), which are disposed in parallel with the input IDT(40). An output IDT(50) is comprised of a plurality of output fingers(51). The input fingers(41) of the input IDT(40) are crossed to form a predetermined pattern. An area(43b) from the cross region of the input fingers(41) to the ground electrode(42b) is greater than an area(43a) from the cross region to the signal electrode(42a).
