摘要： A self-bias operational amplifier and a small signal receiver including the same are provided. The small signal receiver according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a first current regulating circuit which is connected between a first power source voltage (VDD) terminal and a first node (N1) and supplies a current in response to a self-bias signal; the self-biased operational amplifier which is connected between the first node and a second node, supplies the self-bias signal to a self-bias node (N3) by comparing an input signal with a reference voltage, and outputs an output signal through an output node; and a second current regulating circuit which is connected between the second node (N5) and a second power source voltage (VSS) and synchronizes the current of the second node in response to the self-bias signal. The self-bias operational amplifier includes a swing stabilization block which is connected between an input node in which the input signal is applied and the self-bias node and stabilizes the input signal which is compared with the reference voltage.

摘要： This disclosure is directed to a frequency-selective low noise amplifier (LNA) with wide-band impedance and noise matching. The LNAS may include a closed loop circuit that supports wideband input matching. For example, the closed loop circuit may be configure to impedance match an input signal and provide a low noise figure. In addition, the LNA may include an open loop circuit that amplifies the input signal and provides a high output impedance. The open loop circuit may further include a selectivity filter that filters out frequencies outside a desired frequency band. The LNA may drive a tunable band-pass filter via the open loop circuit.

摘要： PURPOSE: A variable gain amplifier is provided to realize a variable gain amplifier in which the output match remains constant over the dynamic range to maintain monotonicity, namely the gain is either continuously increasing or decreasing versus a continuously increasing or decreasing control. CONSTITUTION: An amplifier having a variable gain and a fixed input impedance comprising: a transistor(10) having a base, a collector and an emitter; an inductor coupled to the emitter of the transistor; a plurality of inductor/switch pairs(18a,18b) connected in parallel with the inductor; a plurality of capacitor/switch pairs(24a,24b) connected in parallel between the collector and the base of the transistor; and means for closing:(a) a selected switch of the plurality of inductor/switch pairs to change the gain of the amplifier, and (b) a selected switch of the plurality of capacitor/switch pairs to maintain the input impedance of the amplifier fixed.
