    • PURPOSE: A non-radiative dielectric oscillator circuit using a cavity oscillator is provided to enable a desired frequency to be controlled from the outside. CONSTITUTION: A Gunn diode(5) is fixedly fastened on a lower conductive plate(2) at a predetermined interval from a reflective plate(4). An SMA connector(6) on which a contractive tube is mounted is connected with the Gunn diode. A hole is formed on an upper conductive plate(1). A screw(7) is inserted into the cavity. A mode converter(9) is installed between a teflon of 5mm(8) and a teflon of 1mm(8'). A TE suppressor(10) is installed between the teflon of 1mm(8') and a non-radiative dielectric waveguide(11). The upper conductive plate(1) and the lower conductive plate(2) form a wave guide and also become a cavity for converting a millimeter wave transmission of the non-radiative dielectric wave guide into an LSM mode. A used frequency is controllable according to the reflective plate, the screw, and a length of the Gunn diode.
