    • 본 발명은 고성능의 전압제어 발진기(voltage-controlled oscillator ; VCO)에 있어서 위상잡음(phase-noise)을 감소하기 위한 기법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따르면, VCO의 위상잡음 성능을 높이기 위해 말단 전류원을 제거하면 발진 출력 전압이 증가하고 LC 탱크의 부하 임피던스가 감소하여 위상잡음이 악화하게 되고, 고조파 튜닝법을 이용하면 칩 면적을 많이 소모하는 문제가 있었던 종래의 전압제어 발진기(VCO)들의 문제점을 해결하여, 기존의 병렬 LC 공진기(parallel LC resonator) 대신에 교차결합된 직렬공진 LC 탱크(cross-coupled series resonant LC tank)를 구비함으로써 위상잡음을 감소할 수 있도록 구성되는 새로운 구조의 직렬 LC 공진회로를 가지는 저위상잡음 CMOS 전압제어 발진기 및 그러한 발진기 구조의 설계방법이 제공된다.

    • PURPOSE: An LC voltage controlled generator is provided to reduce a power value in a specific offset frequency by improving the flicker noise of the LC voltage controlled generator. CONSTITUTION: An LC resonance circuit(210) comprises an inductor connected to a power terminal, a capacitor having a parallel connection with the inductor, and a variable capacitor which is connected in parallel between the inductor and the capacitor. An amplification circuit(220) includes a pair of negative boosting transistors and a pair of switching transistors. The gate node of the switching transistor is connected to a bias voltage through each resistor. A bias voltage supply circuit(230) comprises a current source and a transistor. The gate of the transistor has a constant DC voltage through a current source in the bias voltage supply circuit.

    • The present invention relates to a vibration absorbing structure for a crystal oscillator to prevent the transmission of vibration and impact from the outside to the crystal oscillator. A buffer material is connected to at least two support protrusion parts extended in a radial direction along the edge of the case, therefore the buffer material supports the case on an external substrate. Because a crystal oscillator module according to the present structure can be miniaturized and satisfies a vibration property and an impact property together, a light and small product can be manufactured. Also, a phase noise is stable, thereby improving the accuracy of data by reducing errors in internal communications.
