    • The present invention relates to a composite insulator and a method of manufacturing the same. An insulator of the present invention includes a condenser (106) integrally formed in a tube (100). The condenser (106) is formed with first and second electrodes (107,108) installed at predetermined intervals on a base layer (104) forming the tub (100). Each of the condensers (106) has the first and second electrodes (107,108), and the condensers (106) may be sequentially installed in the tube (100) in a centrifugal direction. The condenser (106) may be formed around the inside of the tube (100) so that the cross section of the condenser (106) has a circular shape. According to the present invention having the above configuration, the configuration of a composite insulator is simplified and miniaturized so that a process of manufacturing a composite bushing thereafter is easily performed.

    • The present invention relates to a composite insulator. The insulator of the present invention has a shield (104) on one outer side of a tube (100). First and second flanges (110, 110′) are installed on both ends of the tube (100). A housing (120) made of a silicon material is formed so as to surround the tube (100) and the shield (104). A plurality of sheds (122) protrudes from an outer side of the housing (120). The shield (104) has a body part (106) disposed on the outer side of the tube (100) and a curved part (108) rolled outwards on one end of the body part (106). A connection part (109) for an electrical connection with the flanges (110, 110′) is formed on the other end of the body part (106) corresponding to an opposite side of the curved part (108). A plurality of through-holes (109′) is formed in the shield (104). Therefore, the present invention having the configuration above provides the advantages of simplifying the configuration of the composite insulator and facilitating the following composite bushing-manufacturing process.
