摘要： PURPOSE: An active unit for a surge arrester is provided to reduce a physical height of the active unit and consumption of material. CONSTITUTION: An active unit comprises connection fittings(10,20) spaced apart from each other along an axis(z); one or more cylindrical varistor columns(30) provided between the connection fittings; and one or more dielectric loops(41,42). The dielectric loops are supported at a connection piece interposed between two connection fittings. The dielectric loops generate contact forces by retaining a part of the varistor column between the connecting fittings and the connection piece, or the varistor columns. At least one of the connection fittings includes plate type electrodes disposed perpendicularly to the axis(z); electrical connection portions(12,22) formed integrally with the plates; and a member for supporting ends of the dielectric loops. The member is formed at the plates and/or at edges of the plates.

摘要： An arcing horn device in a transmission tower is provided to prevent a flashover path mismatch phenomenon by maintaining a constant size of an arcing ring even when an electrical insulator is elongated. An arcing horn device in a transmission tower includes a base plate(1), a pair of adjusting units, and an arcing ring(6). Electrical insulators are fixed on a tower arm with which the base plate is coupled. The adjusting unit includes fixing rods(2,2'), movable rods(3,3'), and length adjusting members(5,5'). Both ends of the fixing rods are fixed at both ends of the base plate. The movable rods hold a jumper line and have a body portion which is bent toward the fixed rods. Right-handed screws and left-handed screws are formed on the fixing and movable rods, respectively. The length adjusting member is screw-coupled with the screws and increases or decreases the length of the screws. The arcing ring is fixed at a side surface of the length adjusting member and forms a lightning path for protecting the electrical insulator.
