    • PURPOSE: A damper mounting-type supporting grid of nuclear fuel assembly is provided to minimize the vibration energy which is rapidly delivered to a fuel rod by emitting the vibration energy of the grid. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of strips(110) are formed into a board-shape in a fixed length. The strips are arranged vertically and horizontally in order to partition a plurality of unit lattice cells for supporting the fuel rod. A damper hole(111) is punched on an arbitrary place of the strips. A lot of dimples(120) are projected on the lattice plane of the strip in a fixed direction. A plurality of springs(130) are projected on the lattice plane of the strip in the opposite direction of dimples. The springs elastically support the fuel rods and dimples. The damper is fixed and coupled with the damper hole in order to emit the vibration energy into collision and friction energy. The damper is combined to the inside of the damper hole to be movable.

    • PURPOSE: A duct type nuclear fuel assembly supporting lattice structure having rotary flow generating blades is provided to enhance a resistivity against a shock from a side surface of a supporting lattice structure. CONSTITUTION: A nuclear fuel assembly supporting lattice structure(2) includes a plurality of duct type lattice parts(11). The plural lattice parts(11) are arranged horizontally. A rotary flow generating blade(30) is mounted on the top surface of the lattice part(11). The rotary flow generating blade(30) comprises a primary blade(32) and an auxiliary blade(31), the heights of which are different with each other. The rotary flow generating blade(30) rotates a coolant in a negative water reactor(7) passing along a nuclear fuel rod(6). On a side wall surface of the lattice part(11) formed are windows(13)(14) which are cut narrowly and long. A spring(12) for elastically supporting the nuclear fuel rod(6) is disposed between the windows(13)(14). The coolant is mingled by the windows(13)(14) so as to help the cooling of the nuclear fuel rod(6) in the supporting lattice structure(2).

    • PURPOSE: A grid structure for a stable fuel rod support in a nuclear reactor is provided to minimize abrasion caused by contact of a support grid spring and a fuel rod by making a shape and a structure of a support grid optimum. CONSTITUTION: Top and bottom base units(15,35) are respectively expanded from Top and bottom plates(10,30). Four left and right sides supports(17,17',37,37') are diverged symmetrically from the left and right corner of the top and bottom base. The 4 four left and right sides supports are connected to a support grid spring(50). The width of the support grid spring is 30-60% of the width of the top and bottom plate. Dimples are formed within the top and bottom plate.

The unit plates face each other. The grid plates(316) are formed by the unit plates. The unit plates are used for forming a nozzle-shaped coolant path having an inlet and an outlet in the inside of the unit grid plate(316). A plurality of fuel rod cells are formed by crossing the grid plates. The grid plates are formed with a plurality of unit grid plates. The unit plates are close to a fuel rod(325) since the unit plates include slots formed at both sides of a projected spring part.
