    • PURPOSE: A spacer grid of a fuel rod is provided to improve productivity and mold design by simply forming the shape of an inner grid plate. CONSTITUTION: A first inner grid plate(10) includes a dimple which supports a fuel rod on the plane. A second inner grid plate(20,21,22,23,24,25,26) includes a slot which is orthogonally combined with a first insertion slot unit, a second insertion slot or a third insertion slot. A third inner grid plate(40,40') includes a slot which is orthogonally combined with the first insertion slot or the second insertion slot. A fourth inner grid plate(50) includes a slot with is orthogonally combined with the second insertion slot or the third insertion slot. An outer grid plate(60) covers first to fourth inner grid plates.

    • A spacer grid for dual cooling nuclear fuel rod is provided to maintain compatibility with components of an existing nuclear fuel assembly without change of a core structure by using an existing top fixture and an existing bottom fixture. A first grid plate(20) and a second grid plate(30) are arranged toward a vertical direction and a horizontal direction with a regular interval. A spacer(40) is inserted in an intersection of the first grid plate and the second grid plate, and supports a dual cooling nuclear fuel rod. A first grid slit is formed in one side among a top and a bottom of the first grid plate with the same interval. A first coupling slit is formed in both sides of the first grid slit. A second gird slit is formed in one side among a top and a bottom of the second grid plate with the same interval. A second coupling slit is formed in the other side among a top and a bottom of the second grid plate. The spacer includes a slit part and a supporting part. The slit part is formed in each edge of the spacer, and is coupled with the first coupling slit and the second coupling slit. The supporting part is formed in each plate of the spacer.

    • The present invention relates to a support grid of a nuclear fuel assembly for reducing vibration caused by cooling water in a high-frequency range by improving a shape of a welded part at an intersecting point of the support grid. A support grid provided for supporting a fuel rod of a nuclear fuel assembly comprises a unit grid cell formed by intersecting a plurality of flat grid plates (110) in a grid shape to insert a fuel rod. In each grid plate (110) of the unit grid cell, a junction unit (111) at both ends of the upper side, which intersect each other, is protruding to be higher (H1) than an upper edge (112) at the center and fixed by wielding. Therefore, intersecting welded parts of the grid plates in the support grid are protruding and wide portions of the grid plates are welded together, thereby reducing the high-frequency vibration of the grid plates generated by fluids.

    • The present invention relates to a spacer grid for a nuclear fuel assembly capable of reducing flow-induced vibration by improving the structure of a grid plate of a protection space grid. The spacer grid (100) including a dimple (110) for supporting a fuel rod includes: a plurality of flat grid plates (101) which make up each unit grid cell. Each grid plate includes at least one hole (130) separately from the dimpl. As a result, the pressure difference between two cross sections of the hole is reduced when cooling water flows in, and the friction between the cut cross section and the water reduces the size of vibration and brings a damping effect, resulting in reduction of flow-induced vibration. Furthermore, the hole formed on the grid plate distributes the range of the number of flow-induced vibrations of vortex at the end of the grid plate so that the possibility of resonance with the natural frequency of the spacer grid can be reduced.
