    • PURPOSE: To surely and easily remove every noise components of laser beams from a reproducing RF signal coming from an optical disk. CONSTITUTION: The reproducing RF signal rf(t) and the DC component of an APC monitor output signal m(t) which is the output signal from an LPF 252, are multiplied by a 1st multiplier 251, and a signal in the result of this multiplication is supplied to an arithmetic unit 255. By a 2nd multiplier 254, the reproducing RF signal rf(t) and the laser noise component of the APC monitor output signal m(t) which is the output signal from an HPF 253, are multiplied and a signal in the result of this multiplication is supplied to the arithmetic unit 255. In the arithmetic unit 255, the signal from the multiplier 254 is subtracted from the signal from the multiplier 251, then the additive noise component of the laser noise and the modulation noise component are both removed.
