    • The present invention relates to a display device and a method for driving the same. The display device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a display plate, a first data driving unit, and a second data driving. The display plate includes a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix form, a plurality of first data lines disposed in a first display plate region of a first side with reference to a horizontal center line, and a plurality of second data lines disposed in a second display plate region of a second side opposite to the first side. The first data driving unit applies a data voltage to the plurality of first data lines. The second data driving unit applies a data voltage to the plurality of second data lines. The method for driving the display device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: storing information on a stitch pattern; setting a data processing region that is disposed adjacent to the horizontal center line of the display plate and includes the plurality of pixels; and performing data processing to change a gray scale of data regarding some pixels among the plurality of pixels of the data processing region according to the information on the stitch pattern.
