    • PURPOSE: A pixel and an organic electroluminescence display device using the same are provided to set up a data signal in a wide voltage range when the pixel controls a minute current. CONSTITUTION: A storage capacitor(Cst) is connected between a first node(N1) and a first power source. A first load(146) is connected to an organic light emitting diode(OLED) and the first power source. An anode electrode of the OLED is connected to a pixel circuit(142). An amplifier(144) controls the voltage supplied to the first load. A bias circuit(148) controls the voltage applied to the first node.     • During a writing period, a writing current is permitted to flow in a video signal line (DL) in a first status wherein first control terminal and output terminal of a drive control element (DR1), a second control terminal of a drive control element (DR2) and a video signal line (DL) are mutually connected and a potential of a scan signal line (SL1) is set at a first potential; and the potential of the scan signal line (SL1) is changed from the first potential to the second potential in a second status wherein connections among the first and the second control terminals, the output terminal and the video signal line (DL) are interrupted. During an effective display period, a drive current is permitted to flow in a display element (OLED) in a status wherein the potential of the scan signal line (SL1) is kept at the second potential.
