    • The present invention relates to a method for calculating the changed size of dangerous offshore currents comprising a basic information obtaining step for obtaining basic information for calculating the speed of the offshore currents; an offshore current speed obtaining step for obtaining vibration information and wave information of the offshore currents using the basic information, and obtaining speed information of the offshore currents which considers the nonlinearity of low-frequency vibration by mixing the vibration information and the wave information; and a dangerous offshore current predicting step for predicting the speed of the dangerous offshore currents which are suddenly generated using the obtained speed information of the offshore currents. Provided is the method for calculating the changed size of the dangerous offshore currents capable of obtaining the speed information of the offshore currents considering the nonlinearity of the low-frequency vibration by mixing the vibration information and the wave information of the offshore currents and the speed information of the dangerous offshore currents which are suddenly generated.

CONSTITUTION: A system for predicting the height of tsunami at a predetermined area includes a database unit(101), a wave height computing unit(102), a ratio computing unit(103), and a tsunami height computing unit(104). The database unit respectively computes the heights of tsunami occurred at a plurality of predetermined areas. The wave height computing unit computes the wave height of earthquake occurred areas. The ratio computing unit computes ratios between respective wave heights of the earthquake occurred areas and a predetermined wave height. The tsunami height computing unit computes the height of tsunami at a predetermined area based on the computed ratio.
