    • PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for preventing backfire of a heating furnace are provided to prevent industrial accidents in advance owing to the discharge of COG gas, and to improve productivity and work stability. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for preventing backfire of a heating furnace comprises an automatic shut-off valve (80), a purge valve (110), a thermocouple (70), and a control unit (90). The automatic shut-off valve controls the gas supply to the heating furnace. The purge valve purges COG gas left in a branch pipe by supplying nitrogen gas to the heating furnace. The thermocouple determines whether or not the COG can be ignited by sensing the temperature of the heating furnace. The control unit operates the automatic shut-off valve, and drives the purge valve according to the state of the automatic shut-off valve and thermocouple.     • PURPOSE: A heating furnace is provided to prevent skid marks by a cam rotating unit on the underside of a material because a cam does not contact a material unless the camp rotating unit moves the material. CONSTITUTION: A heating furnace comprises a body(10) which heats a material inserted through an inlet hole, a transfer unit(100) which transfers the material to an outlet hole of the body, and a cam rotating unit(200) which is arranged between the transfer units and rotates to move the material. The transfer unit comprises a skid pipe part including a cooling path storing cooling water and a skid button part coupled to the skid pipe part and allowed to rotate.

    • Provided is an apparatus for controlling the temperature of a heating furnace. The apparatus for controlling the temperature of a heating furnace comprises: an upper part temperature sensor for measuring the temperature of an upper part of a heating furnace; a lower part temperature sensor for measuring the temperature of a lower part of a heating furnace; and a heating furnace temperature controlling part for controlling the temperature inside the heating furnace by turning on a combustion burner based on the upper part temperature measured by the upper part temperature sensor and the lower part temperature measured by the lower part temperature sensor. The lower part temperature sensor is installed in a lower part of both sides of a charging zone, a preheating zone, a heating zone, and an equilibrium heating zone which compose a heating furnace by being separated from a floor at regular intervals. The location of the lower part temperature sensor of the preheating zone is determined based on flow distribution. The location of the lower part temperature sensor of the heating zone is determined based on temperature distribution. Therefore, the lower part temperature inside a heating furnace can be accurately measured by reducing influence due to a scale which is fallen from a slab.
