The door of a cooling room is to move up and down for opening and closing of the door. The door of a cooling room is combined with the lower part of the door by a hinge connection. The temperature sensor is mounted in the cooling room and measures the temperature. The control unit controls the first damper according to the temperature value which is measured in the temperature sensor and opening and shutting of the second damper.

    • PURPOSE: A method for controlling low room temperature of a refrigerator is provided to prevent increasing freezer temperature by controlling a compressor and a blowing fan with ON/OFF control when the periphery of a refrigerator is in a low room temperature state and the value detected by a cold room temperature sensor is higher than a preset reference temperature. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling low room temperature of a refrigerator is as follows. A step for determining whether the periphery of a refrigerator is low temperature through an external temperature sensor(S100). In case the periphery of the refrigerator is low room temperature and it's not low room temperature, a set temperature is respectively measured by a cold room temperature sensor installed in a cold room of the refrigerator. In case the periphery of the refrigerator is low room temperature and the measured cold room temperature is higher than the set temperature, the blowing fan is time controlled for ON/OFF and the compressor is kept in operation state(S300). If the cold room temperature is lower than the set temperature, the blowing fan and the compressor are kept in OFF state(S400).
