    • PURPOSE: A steam generator having flow distribution partition wall is provided to limit floating matter carried by supplied water to the upper part of pipe bundle. CONSTITUTION: In the vicinity of pipe plate of a steam generator in the lower part of the steam generator, a flow distribution partition wall(14) is arranged inside a bundle wrapper(7) of the steam generator. Bundle of steam generator and openings(17 and 18) for passing supply water penetrate the flow distribution partition wall(14). The flow distribution partition wall(14) coaxial with the axis of the steam generator has a nearly circular central region(15) of which the radius(R1) is shorter than 40percent of the radius(R) of the bundle wrapper(7). Between the central region and the flow distribution partition wall(14) periphery, a nearly annular peripheral region is provided. In the central region(15), the opening(17) for passing the pipes of the flow distribution isolation wall and supply water has a cross sectional area which is larger than the cross sectional area of the opening(18) for passing the pipes of the flow distribution isolation wall and supply water in the peripheral region. The total surface area for passing supply water in the peripheral region is larger than the total surface area for passing water in the central region(15).

The grooves are formed to be spaced from each other and go toward the other side having no groove. The grooves are formed at the cross areas of the upper bars and the lower bars. Between the grooves on a first side of the upper bar, recesses are formed to be scalloped. Between the grooves on a second side of the upper bar, recesses are formed to be scalloped and shifted from the recesses on the first side of the upper bar.
