    • PURPOSE: A process of preparing artificial thread by polymerization-coating treatment of a low-density thermoplastic resin drawn yarn on a high-density thermoplastic resin drawn yarn firstly prepared through an extrusion, drawing process or the like and changing the shape of a nozzle is provided which produces artificial thread creating a texture and shape like natural fiber. CONSTITUTION: The preparing process of artificial thread comprises: a first forming process consisting of extruding raw material at 180 to 200deg.C, forming a fine S-shaped concavo-convex surface on a cylindrical film, slitting the two-fold films into several stripes, drawing at a drawing ratio of 6 to 8:1 and annealing; and a second forming process consisting of melt-forming raw yarn through a first nozzle at 110 to 130deg.C and a second nozzle at 190 to 230deg.C, cooling using a water tank, drawing and winding. The nozzle has a variety of shapes such as a round, ellipsoid or polygon.

    • PURPOSE: Provided is poly(trimethylene terephthalate) BCF modified cross-section fiber for a carpet which is characterized by having uniform physical properties, excellent bulking ability and spinning workability, improving the carpet in quality, and making it possible to produce the carpet having excellent elastic recovering property, beautiful appearance, touch, abrasion resistance, anti-fouling property and antistatic property. CONSTITUTION: The poly(trimethylene terephthalate) BCF modified cross-section fiber is characterized by having "Y" type cross-section and having a shaped ratio and an arm angle being in a range of a parallelogram ABCD of a graph. The poly(trimethylene terephthalate) BCF modified cross-section fiber is obtained by a process containing the steps of: using poly(trimethylene terephthalate) having 0.8-1.2 of inherent viscosity and under 50ppm of moisture; adding 2-5% of color master batch based on base chip quantity; melt-spinning at 1500-4000m/min of speed; drawing; passing through a texturing nozzle(8) to give 10-60% of crimp ratio; and then passing through a confounding device(11) to make 10-45numbers/m of knots.
