    • PURPOSE: A repressor for HIV transcription and a method thereof are provided, thereby effectively inhibiting HIV transcription, so that AIDS can be treated. CONSTITUTION: HIV transcription repressing fusion protein of polypeptide having Sp1, NF-κB transcription factor activity repressing or chromatin repressing activity, polypeptide or compound having promoter binding activity, and polypeptide recognizing RNA strand around the expression regulating region or the virus LTR promoter cis-acting region, wherein the polypeptide or compound having Sp1, NF-κB transcription factor activity repressing or chromatin repressing activity is selected from the group consisting of (a) POZ-domain series protein, (b) HDAC or transcription repressing activity region thereof, (c) MeCP2 or MBP series protein, (d) one or more corepressor protein selected from polycom series protein, mSin3A, SMRT, and N-CoR, (e) DNA binding site polypeptide of Sp1, Sp2, Sp3, Sp4 or NF-κB, and (f) a protein capable of binding to the AIDS virus promoter region; the polypeptide or compound recognizing short transcript around the expression regulating region or virus LTR promoter cis-acting region is Tat protein having the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 or 2 or mutant thereof; and the fusion protein is selected from proteins having the amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NOs: 3 to 10.

    • PURPOSE: A recombinant combo protein fused with HIV type-1, -2 and 0 proteins, a manufacturing method thereof, a vector containing the same and a transformant thereof, a diagnostic kit thereof and a composition for vaccine thereof are provided. The recombinant combo protein has improved HIV antibody sensitivity and specificity. CONSTITUTION: A single stranded polypeptide fusion protein includes entire or a part of HIV type-1 p24 or gp41, HIV type-2 gp36, HIV type-1 group 0 gp41, wherein the HIV type-1 p24 protein contains entire or a part of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 7; the HIV type-1 gp41 protein contains entire or a part of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 8; the HIV type-2 gp36 protein contains entire or a part of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 9; the HIV type-1 group 0 gp41 protein contains entire or a part of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 10; and six-repeated histidine residue is positioned at the C-terminal of the fusion protein. An expression vector pLCSK-1 contains the fusion protein gene. A transformed E. coli(KCTC 10100BP) is produced by transformation with the expression vector pLCSK-1.
