    • PURPOSE: A method for massively culturing Dinophysis acuminate is provided to massively culture Dinophysis acuminate and use as a standard toxin when analyzing toxin component. CONSTITUTION: A method for massively culturing Dinophysis acuminate comprises: a step of inoculating Myrionecta rubra and teleaulax in a density ratio of 1:10-1:15; a step of sub-culturing Myrionecta rubra at 10-30°C under serial light; a step of inoculating cultured Myrionecta rubra in a water bath to which air is supplied; a step of stirring Myrionecta rubra and seawater medium and culturing Myrionecta rubra massively; a step of inoculating Myrionecta rubra and Dinophysis acuminate in an initial density of 1:10-1:30; a step of sub-culturing the Dinophysis acuminate at 10-30°C; and a step of inoculating Dinophysis acuminate in a water bath. The seawater is f/2-Si medium.

    • A method for culturing Dinophysis acuminata is provided to establish a laboratory culturing method of the Dinophysis acuminata, one species which is hard to be cultured, based on the interaction among the Dinophysis acuminata, Myrionecta rubra and Teleaulax sp., for the first time, thereby capable of significantly contributing to find out ecophysiological characteristics, biological and toxicological properties of Dinophysis species and the evolution process of Dinoflagellate pastid. A method for culturing Dinophysis acuminata comprises a step of culturing the Dinophysis acuminata in a seawater culture medium such as a f/2-Si culture medium at a temperature of 10-30 deg.C under continuous light with supplying Myrionecta rubra as a feed thereto without supplying Teleaulax sp., wherein an initial density ratio of the Dinophysis acuminata to the Myrionecta rubra is 1:1-10. A culture medium comprises a seawater culture medium and Myrionecta rubra.
