    • PURPOSE: A method for preparing granular structural body containing photo-catalyst is provided by which the prepared granular structural body absorbs and photo-analyzes organisms and also absorbs and sterilizes microorganisms and fungi. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of: (i) a first step of adding 40 wt. parts of TiO2 sol to 100 wt. parts of porous glass powder and moist mixing and drying for one day and heat-treating for 40 minutes in an inert reducing atmosphere of 4 volume % of H2 and 96 volume % of N2 at the temperature of 300°C; (ii) a second step of adding 100 wt. part of 0.2 wt.% Ag2O solution to 5 wt. parts of dried powdered active carbon and moist mixing and drying for one day and heat-treating for 40 minutes in an inert reducing atmosphere of 4 volume % of H2 and 96 volume % of N2 at the temperature of 450°C; and (iii) preparing granular precursor by mixing 100 wt. parts of the first step with 5 wt. parts of the second step in mixer and adding water thereto; (iv) drying the precursor for one day and increasing the temperature with fixed rate up to 600-700°C for 30 minutes in an inert reducing atmosphere of 4 volume % of H2 and 96 volume % of N2; and (v) preparing granular structural body having a diameter of 2 ¬millimeter Φ by heat-treating the step (iv) at the temperature of 600-700°C for 20 minutes.
