    • PURPOSE: A method for prevention of carbonation and deterioration of concrete is provided to keep strong adhesive on concrete, improve freezing and thawing, and resistance against chemicals, impact and abrasion, and prevent yellowing by applying base and top coating on concrete. CONSTITUTION: The base-coating material comprises 45-55wt.% of main components containing 13.5-16.5wt.% of epoxy or denatured epoxy resin, 4.5-5.5wt.% of alumina or aluminum hydroxide, 13.5-16.5wt.% of high-early strength cement, solvent(cellosolve acetate, isopropyl alcohol, etc.), and optionally talc and antisettling agent, and 45-55wt.% of hardener composed of 11.3-13.7wt.% of polyamide resin, or denatured amine resin(aromatic amine resin), 22.5-27.5wt.% of water, 4.5-5.5wt.% of aluminum silicate, 2.7-3.3wt.% of titanium oxide, antifoaming agent and antisettling agent. The top-coating material comprises 60-73wt.% of main components, 21.6-26.4wt.% of acrylic resin or denatured acrylic resin, 8.4-10.2wt.% of titanium oxide, 9.5-11.7wt.% of polyester resin or denatured polyester resin, solvent, and optionally pigment, talc, antifoaming agent, dispersant and flatting agent, and 30-37wt.% of hardener composed of 13.5-16.5wt.% of urethane or denatured urethane resin. The carbonation and deterioration of concrete is prevented by coating base-coating materials on concrete and coating top-coating materials on the base-coating.
