摘要： PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of functional charcoal composition and the functional charcoal manufactured by using the same are provided to prevent a phenomenon of a shrink film not binding with divided charcoals due to a binding material binder by filling the shrink film with the binding material binder in advance and then putting in the divided charcoal. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of functional charcoal composition comprises steps of: manufacturing charcoal(10) to contain 60% or more moisture by removing protruding parts and impurities of the charcoal, dividing the charcoal into many pieces, and impeding the pieces of charcoal in water; adding the divided charcoal containing water through the charcoal manufacturing process into a cylindrical shrink film(20) with a blocked bottom to make the charcoal to have a cylindrical shape, pressure-molding the charcoal by heating at a temperature of 80°C to 100°C, and shrinking the shrink film to obtain charcoal of a cylindrical shape; pouring the binding material binder (30) onto an upper surface of the pressured charcoal sculpture which is pressured in a cylindrical charcoal shape by the shrink film to penetrate through air gaps of the charcoal and hardening by leaving at a natural state for 24 hours or more; removing the shrink film surrounding a circumferential surface of the charcoal sculpture after the hardening; and finalizing by cutting the charcoal into a desired size and polishing. The charcoal sculpture which is pressure-molded by the shrink film is settled inside a vibration table of a vibrator(40) during the pouring of the binding material binder to penetrate through a charcoal sculpture. 摘要： A honeycomb structure which is useful as a capturing filter for exhaust gas, especially as a DPF for capturing particulate substances in exhaust gas from a diesel engine, and which can prevent effectively occurrence of such defects as cracking due to thermal stress during use and regeneration. The honeycomb structure comprises a honeycomb segment bonded body where a plurality of honeycomb segments are bonded integrally at the mutual bonding faces through a bonding material layers, and an outer circumferential coat layer covering the outer circumferential surface of the honeycomb segment bonded body, and has such a structure that a plurality of cells becoming the channels of fluid are arranged in parallel to each other in the direction of central axis. The honeycomb structure is characterized in that a bonded cross portion where two or more bonding material layers intersect has a thermal capacity relatively lower than that at other bonded portions, i.e. the bonding material layers other than the bonded cross portion.
