    • PURPOSE: A linde-type-A(LTA) zeolite separating membrane and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to prevent the damage of the separating layer in the separating membrane generated during an ion-exchanging process by exchanging alkaline metal ions and alkaline earth metal ions while a second growing process is implemented under a hydrothermal condition. CONSTITUTION: An alumina-based raw material, a silica-based raw material, and sodium hydroxide are dissolved in water to obtain a first aqueous solution. Alkaline metal hydroxide aqueous solution and/or alkaline earth metal hydroxide aqueous solution is added to the first aqueous solution to obtain a second aqueous solution. The second aqueous solution is aged to obtain a hydrothermal solution(150). The hydrothermal solution is introduced into a hydrothermal synthesizer. A support(160) is immersed in the hydrothermal solution to form a zeolite separating layer(170) on the surface of the support.

    • PURPOSE: A method is to synthesize a zeolite A from impurity-removed serpentine. CONSTITUTION: A method includes pulverizing and classifying serpentine containing 36 to 37% of silicon oxide and 34 to 36% of magnesium oxide in -200 mesh; adding the classified serpentine to an extracting solution at a concentration of 5 to 300 grams per liter at a temperature in the range from 80°C to 100°C, and extracting the serpentine under stirring at 300 rpm for about 1 to 12 hours; separating the extracted product into solid and liquid phases, collecting the activated serpentine residue, washing the extract residue with distilled water to remove the residual acid from the serpentine residue; drying the washed extract residue at 110°C for 24 hours; adding a predetermined amount of the dry extract residue to a beaker containing distilled water, adding an amount of a 50% sodium hydroxide solution, and heating the mixture until the solution becomes clear; adding an amount of aluminum hydroxide and another 50% sodium hydroxide solution and heating the mixture until the solution becomes clear; cooling and weighing the two solutions, and adding distilled water to the solution by the reduced amount; adding the two solutions in a round-bottom flask, placing the flask on a heating mantle, and keeping the solutions at 60 to 90°C under stirring at 100 rpm for 1 to 4 hours; filtering the product into solid and liquid phases and washing it with distilled water for several times; and drying the powder at 110°C for 24 hours to obtain the target zeolite A.

    • PURPOSE: A sodium A(NaA) zeolite separating membrane and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to suppress the generation of defects by improving the uniformity of the NaA zeolite separating membrane. CONSTITUTION: An alumina-based raw material, a silica-based raw material, sodium hydroxide are dissolved in water to obtain an aqueous solution. The aqueous solution is mixed to obtain a hydrothermal solution(S100). NaA zeolite powder is vibrated and pulverized under a wet condition to implement a centrifugal process. Seed crystal slurry is prepared. The seed crystal passes through a support to be attached on the surface of the support(S120). The hydrothermal solution is introduced into a hydrothermal reactor, and the support with the seed crystal is immersed in the hydrothermal solution in order to grow a NaA zeolite layer on the surface of the support(S150).

    • An apparatus for synthesizing A-type and P-type zeolites with high purity by replacing a conventional hydrothermal synthesis method with a microwave as a heating source, and a method for synthesizing A-type and P-type zeolites with high purity using the apparatus are provided. An apparatus for synthesizing A-type and P-type zeolites with high purity using a microwave heat source comprises: a flay ash feeding part including a fly ash storage tank, a rotary valve, a microwave melting and synthesizing reactor(13), and a fly ash vibrating feeder; a NaOH supply part; a Na2O and Al2O3 molar ratio adjusting part; an aging process part; a filtrate residue separating part; a zeolite dewatering and recirculating part; and a product treating part. The microwave melting and synthesizing reactor comprises: a microwave feeding part including a microwave feeder(1301) for feeding a microwave into the reactor, and a microwave leakage chock(1303); and a microwave reaction unit part including a Pyrex reactor(1304) made of a material with a low dielectric constant, a Teflon liner(1305) having excellent chemical resistance formed on an inner part of the Pyrex reactor, an agitator(1306) made of stainless steel to mix a synthetic solution evenly and reflect a microwave, a shielding thermocouple(1307) made of stainless steel, a vapor condenser(1308), an aqueous NaOH solution supply part(1309), a fly ash feeding part(1310), and an alumino silicate gel feeding part(1311).

    • PURPOSE: Provided is a process for producing zeolite Na-A using agalmatolite, which is simple and can reduce the cost of production by reacting natural agalmatolite with waste of NaOH at 100deg.C under high pressure. CONSTITUTION: The zeolite Na-A is obtained by a process containing the steps of: i) mixing the crushed agalmatolite by a 150mesh with NaOH of 2N-3N or more in a ratio of 3-4g to 20cc and filling a pressure cooker with mixture up to 40+-5%, followed by stirring mixture for 6-10hrs and heating it at 100-130deg.C, and then cooling it to make zeolite P; ii) mixing the zeolite P with 3M of NaAlO2 with distilled water in a ratio of 1 : 1 and stirring and heating to prepare zeolite Na-A for less than 6-10hrs at 100deg.C and less; and then iii) drying the zeolite Na-A in an oven at the temperature range of 85 to 95.
