The sheet providing roller(51) is fixed to a sheet providing roller supporting shaft(52). A sheet providing driving gear(65) is fixed to a backward end portion of the sheet providing roller supporting shaft(52). A control gear(80) is coupled to the sheet providing driving gear(65), and has a toothless portion(80a).

CONSTITUTION: A media feeding unit includes a cassette frame(200), a loading plate, a holder unit(500), a locking unit(600), and a locking assembly(400). The cassette frame is attached to the main body frame(10). The loading plate is installed in order to be movable in the interval between a providing location which provides a print medium and a waiting location separated from the providing location. The holder unit is installed on the loading plate. The locking unit includes a free end locking the holder unit. The locking assembly moves the free end by pressure in order to the loading plate moves to a providing location when the cassette frame is installed.
