    • PURPOSE: A dryer for a printer is provided to simplify a structure of a dry frame and to improve the drying efficiency of a printing material because air flowed from a driving fan is discharged to the printing material after heating by a heater. CONSTITUTION: A dryer for a printer comprises a dry frame(10), a heater(20), and a driving fan(30). A reflection plate where the heater is installed is formed in the upper part of the dry frame and a seating unit for the driving fan is formed in the lower part of the dry frame. The heater is installed in the reflection plate, thereby applying heat to printing materials. The driving fan is installed in the seating unit for the driving fan in a longitudinal direction, thereby supplying air to the printing materials. The air inhaled from the driving fan is sent to the printing materials through a spraying slot formed between the dry frame and reflection plate along a flow path formed in the rear part of the reflection plate.

    • A drying system of an image forming device is provided to improve printed image quality by reducing the degree of pollution caused by coloring agents in the process of printing. A drying system(5) of an image forming device includes a plenum(5a), a duct(5b) and a nozzle(5c) for supplying drying air to printing media which move in a direction. A heater(5d) is mounted in the plenum for heating the air supplied to the printing media. The air is applied to the printing media substantially in the same direction with the movement direction of the printing media. The air is applied to the printing media immediately after a coloring agent is applied to the printing media and before the printing media contacts any other article.
