    • PURPOSE: A dryer for printed matters is provided to improve the stability and efficiency in cooling an ultra-violet lamp by employing a cooling unit having a cooling-water circulation structure. CONSTITUTION: A prints dryer with a cooling unit comprises a double glass tube(10) and an ultra-violet lamp(20). The double glass tube is composed of an inner tube(11) and an outer tube(12) and the gap between the inner and outer tubes is closed at both ends of the double glass tube so that cooling water is circulated through an inlet(14) and an outlet. The ultra-violet lamp is fixed to a circular bracket having the same diameter as the inner tube of the double glass tube and inserted to an insert hole(16) of the double glass. A guide tube with a cut part is installed on the exterior of the double glass tube to limit the scan range of the ultra-violet lamp.
