    • PURPOSE: A silicon mold for manufacturing a key pad and manufacturing method for keypad rubber using the same is provided to prevent scratch of a film cloth by easily separating a film sheet from a mold and reduce costs of manufacturing a metal mold by using silicon instead of metal. CONSTITUTION: A silicon mold of manufacturing a key pad comprises upper and lower molds(100,200) which include a heater plate(140, 230) and a heat sensor(160,260). A silicon forming pad(280) is formed on the lower mold and a pattern for a keypad molding is formed on the silicon forming pad. A groove, which is formed corresponding to the pattern for the keypad molding of the silicon forming pad, is formed on the bottom surface of the upper mold. A keypad film is shaped through hot pressing using the silicon forming pad.

A preparation method for keypad of cellular phone comprises a step of forming a silk screen layer(6) formed with a pattern which a user can detects visually on the lower end of a base material used in a key pad a step of applying UV curing material resin composite on the lower end of the silk screen layer; a step of adhering the silk screen layer onto which a transparent mold mating to the form of an actuator part(10) on the lower end of the silk screen layer after the completion of the former step and UV curing material resin composite are applied; a step of solidifying the UV curing material resin composite by emitting UV ray on the silk screen layer adhered with the transparent mold after the completion of the former step; and a step of separating the transparent mold from the silk screen layer in which the UV curing material resin composite is solidified after the completion of the former step.

    • A coating and forming device of a keypad is provided to manufacture a cell phone in super slim thickness by making the keypad of a light guide film coated with a UV(ultraviolet) resin on which a letter, a number, and an outer line of a button is formed in a continuous process. A coating and forming device of a keypad comprises the followings: a transparent plate(11) installed on a case(10); a blocking plate(22) connected to a first cylinder(21), moving horizontally above an ultraviolet lamp(20) installed in the case, to block light or to emit light to the transparent plate; a transparent UV resin(31) coated on a light guide film(30) laid on the transparent plate; a mold(32) formed with an engraved and an embossed letter, number, and outer line of a button, and located above the transparent UV resin; an air chamber(40) fixed above the mold and connected to a vacuum pump(44) with a hose(45), to suck air around the mold; a second cylinder lifting and lowering the air chamber and the mold; and a pressing roller(51) installed above the air chamber, to rotate and move horizontally by an operating unit(50). The air chamber comprises upper cover paper(40a) of rubber material and a lower sucking paper(40b) of cloth material, to suck the surrounding air through the sucking paper when sucking force is applied to an inside of the cover paper.

    • PURPOSE: A control panel for electronic equipment is provided to reduce cost by satisfying the requirements of hermeticity, clearness of indication and operability. CONSTITUTION: A sheet made of a commercially available light-transmitting thermoplastic synthetic resin material is used as a substrate. Sheet recesses are formed on the sheet so that each print layer formed on the surface of the sheet is located on the inner side of the bottom of a sheet recess. The sheet recesses are filled with a synthetic resin material to form pushbuttons. A contact surface of a case cover and a contact surface of a pushbutton outer skin are kept in close contact with each other during injection molding. Therefore, there is no possibility of the resin material flowing between the contact surfaces. It is unnecessary to insert a mold member into the clearance between each pushbutton and the associated opening in the case cover. Because the clearance can be minimized, it becomes easy to achieve a size reduction and so forth. Design limitations are also reduced.
