    • PURPOSE: A urethane foaming device for both high and low temperatures is provided to enhance the flame retardancy and compressive strength of a urethane foam by adding gas and functional powders for raw materials into the urethane foam. CONSTITUTION: A urethane foaming device for both high and low temperatures comprises a high-pressure foaming head and a low-pressure foaming head(9). The high and low pressure foaming head are respectively formed in one side and the other side. A crude liquid passage(13) connects the two heads. Crude liquids firstly mixed in the high pressure foaming head are transmitted to the low pressure foaming head through the crude liquid passage. The low pressure foaming head comprises an inlet port of powdered raw materials and an injecting port of foaming gases. The powdered raw materials and the foaming gases are added and mixed again in addition.

    • A process for producing various kinds of flexible polyurethane foams with different properties, comprising: bringing at least a polyol, a polyisocyanate and a blowing agent to contact with each other by employing a single production apparatus, wherein the polyisocyanate contains tolylene diisocyanate, and the polyol consists essentially of two or three types of polyols, at least two of these two or three types of polyols being selected from the group consisting of three types of polyoxyalkylene polyether polyols having an overall degree of unsaturation of less than 0.06 meq/g and three types of polymer polyols obtained from polyoxyalkylene polyether polyols having an overall degree of unsaturation of less than 0.06 meq/g; and wherein the two or three types of polyols, the polyisocyanate and the blowing agent are mixed at a mixing ratio varied to attain various changes of the values of the properties, thus flexible polyurethane foams with desired properties being obtainable. In particular, the use of a polyisocyanate containing tolylene diisocyanate in an amount of 20% by weight or more enables to change a core density of the flexible polyurethane foam in the range of 20 to 70 kg/m and to change a 25% ILD hardness of the flexible polyurethane foam in the range of 50 to 400 N/314 cm . In the process for producing flexible polyurethane foams of the present invention, various kinds of flexible polyurethane foams having a wide range of values of properties such as hardness, density and impact resilience so as to meet requirements of a wide range of values of properties can be produced from essentially two or three types of polyols by employing a single production apparatus in a simple manner.

    • An environmentally friendly PU foaming apparatus and a method thereof according to the present invention comprise a raw material insertion step, an emulsification stage and a foaming step. The present invention lowers the specific gravity of a hydroxide containing OH by causing an emulsification reaction on the hydroxide containing OH by mixing the hydroxide containing OH with harmless gas, forms a mixture by mixing the hydroxide containing OH and an isocyanate polymer containing NCO under ambient pressure environment and forms a PU foam by allowing foaming action to be caused in the mixture when the harmless gas is escaped from the mixture. Accordingly, the present invention is able to accomplish environmental protection effects since PU foaming is able to be directly performed without using HCFC and water and is able to guarantee the quality of PU foam by preventing hydrolysis reaction from being caused.
