    • An apparatus and method for manufacturing ultra-fine particles using an electrospray device is disclosed. One or more capillary provided at its tip with a nozzle is positioned within a guide duct and precursors such as metal organic materials and metal halogen compounds, or nonvolatile substances or volatile substances are supplied to the capillary. Voltages are applied to the capillary and the guide duct, respectively, so that a voltage difference is generated therebetween and the highly charged liquid droplets from the capillary are sprayed. The sprayed liquid droplets are carried along the guide duct together with carrier gas injected into the guide duct. When heat energy is applied to the liquid droplets, chemical reactions of the liquid droplets occur. A collecting plate positioned in front of the guide duct collects ultra-fine particles formed by the chemical reactions.

    • PURPOSE: A molten zinc spray nozzle apparatus is provided to prevent contamination of ultrasonic horn, prevent sprayed zinc particles from accumulating on the surface of zinc pot again and control the spray nozzle more accurately by impressing an electric charge to molten zinc to control amount of molten zinc flown by outer magnetic field. CONSTITUTION: In a molten zinc spray nozzle apparatus comprising zinc pot(205) which contains molten zinc(204), and to which nozzle is attached, and ultrasonic generator for atomizing molten zinc, the molten zinc spray nozzle apparatus comprises an ionization electrode(206) for electric charging molten zinc inside the zinc pot; electromagnets which are oppositely positioned with nozzle being formed between the electromagnets to form a magnetic field perpendicularly to a nozzle direction of the zinc pot, and at both ends adjacent to the nozzle of which opposite polarities of magnetic field are formed respectively; a control part(214) for controlling intensity of magnetic field by changing current flowing to the electromagnets, wherein the molten zinc spray nozzle apparatus further comprises a sensor for measuring width of molten zinc flown through the zinc pot nozzle.
