    • The present invention relates to an AED system of an elevator and a control method thereof which comprise an AED in the ceiling of the elevator and make the elevator stop current operation and make the elevator move to the floor where an AED switch is pushed if the AED switch comprised beside an entrance is pushed. The AED system of an elevator of the present invention includes: an AED switch comprised beside an entrance door or in a home automation key input part; the elevator moving to the corresponding floor where the AED switch is pushed if an AED key push signal is received from the AED switch; and an AED storage box which is installed in the elevator, and accommodates and keeps the AED, and turns on an LED installed in one side if the AED key push signal is received from the elevator. The AED storage box is accommodated in the ceiling of the elevator, and is embedded with an AED test part, and checks normal operation of the AED regularly, and informs at least one of a security office terminal, an administration center terminal, an emergency rescue terminal and a mobile phone of a related person of the situation if the AED switch is pushed and the AED is taken out from the AED storage box.
