    • A method for preparing organic-inorganic composite nanoparticles is provided to prevent a loss of hydrophilic quantum dots by suppressing agglomeration and precipitation phenomenons when organic-inorganic composite nanoparticles are prepared. A method for preparing organic-inorganic composite nanoparticles having a single nanoparticle at the core includes the steps of: (a) adding an organic material(16) having a thiol group and a hydrophilic amine group to core or core/shell-structured inorganic nanoparticles(10,12) protected by surfactant to prepare hydrophilic nanoparticles through metal-thiolate(M-S) bonding; (b) adjusting a concentration of the prepared hydrophilic nanoparticles to 2x10^(-6) M, and treating the resultant in an ultrasonic bath to prepare individually dispersed nanoparticles; and (c) performing amide bonding between the individually dispersed nanoparticles and biocompatible molecules, target-oriented molecules, composites or mixtures thereof(18) in an ultrasonic bath. Further, the step (b) of treating the resultant in the ultrasonic bath is performed within 30 seconds, at 50 to 60 Hz.
