    • The present invention relates to a sterilizer for a stethoscope comprising: a body having an inserting unit prepared at the top end thereof so that the head of a stethoscope is inserted therein in a side direction; a slide lens which is installed in the body in order to be able to slide up and down and to be disposed at the bottom of the head inserted in the inserting unit; an elastic member which is installed in the body so that the slide lens elastically and upwardly supports the head; an ultraviolet light source which is installed in the body and irradiates ultraviolet rays onto the head through the slide lens by means of a power source of a battery; and a switch unit which is installed in the body so as to turn a power source to the ultraviolet light source on or off when the slide lens descends by means of the head or ascends by means of the elastic member. According to the present invention, the head of the stethoscope can be easily attached to and detached from a desired position, and the sterilizer is prevented from being undesirably separated from the head of the stethoscope, so that the reliability of sterilizing can be improved. Damage caused by being dropped is prevented, and sterilizing can be performed only by mounting the head of the stethoscope, wherein the reliability of switching is improved therefor. The exposure of the ultraviolet light source is blocked, so that durability is improved. Also, heads of stethoscopes having different sizes can be used.
