    • An esophagus imaging enhancement device is provided to prevent an erroneous incision by improving an image of an inner surface of an esophagus using an imaging structure. A catheter(28) is inserted into a heart(32) of a patient(36). The catheter includes an incision electrode, which applies an RF(Radio Frequency) energy on a selected region inside a heart. A portion of an esophagus(40) of a patient is overlapped with a coronary sinus and a rear portion of a left atrium. An imaging system(44) provides an image of the esophagus. The imaging system includes an image enhancement system(45) which includes a fluorescent imaging system. The imaging system keeps track of the catheter by using a physical property of the catheter. The imaging system locates a sensor to display a current position of the catheter. The imaging system includes a mapping system.
