    • PURPOSE: To provide a joy stick whose operability can be made high by making the number of actuators whose proportional control is possible larger than a conventional manner. CONSTITUTION: This joy stick device 1 is provided with a slide switch 3a whose cross-section is viewed almost like a T character on the surface of the grip part of a control lever 2. A web part 3aw of the slide switch 3a is connected to the upper face of a shaft 16 pivottay supported at the lower part of the control panel 3, and a magnet 6a is embedded in the lower face of the shaft 16. When the slide switch 3a is slide-operated by an operator, the web part 3aw of the slide switch 3a is shaken with the shaft 16 as a supporting point, and the shaft 16 is rotated according to this so that the magnet 6a can be displaced. Thus, the strength of the changing magnetic field is detected by a magnetic sensor 6a so that a voltage proportional to the moving amounts of the slide switch 3a can be outputted.

CONSTITUTION: A piston motor includes a rotation shaft a casing(31) for rotatably supporting the rotation shaft, a cylinder block rotating in association with the rotation shaft in the casing, a brake piston(50) mounted in the casing detachably along an axis of the rotation shaft, and an elastic element(54) interposed between the brake piston and the casing for elastically supporting the brake piston toward the axis, so that the brake piston is placed at one side of the axis in resistance against the elastic force of the elastic element when a working fluid is applied more than a predetermined pressure in a hydraulic chamber(53) formed between the brake piston and the casing, while at the other side of the axis by a restoring force of the elastic element when the pressure of the working fluid is decreased below than the predetermined pressure, wherein the casing is formed with a pressure port(65) for supplying the working fluid, and first and second fluid channels(74,75) for supplying or discharging the working fluid and a check valve(80) is mounted in the first fluid channel for shutting off the working fluid flowing from the hydraulic chamber to the pressure port.

The recessed surfaces (21, 22) of the swash plate support base (4) have hardened parts (21a, 22a) partially hardened by laser beam.
