摘要： PURPOSE: A traverser for a crane is provided to prevent slippage and improve power efficiency by employing a rack and pinion assembly as a drive unit. CONSTITUTION: A traverser for a crane comprises a body(10), a fixed blade(20), a drive unit(30), and a movable blade(40). The body includes a rail and a travel motor. The fixed blade is connected to the body and provided with a rail on top, and a hinge shaft and a receiving part on one side. The drive unit includes a knuckle joint fixed to the receiving part of the fixed blade, a rack connected to the knuckle joint, a support supporting the rack, and a pinion connected to the hinge shaft of the fixed blade. The movable blade includes a connection part joined to the pinion of the drive unit.
