    • PURPOSE: A polyketone fiber having 90 mole% of repetitive ketone units of -CH2 CH2 -CO- is provided to enhance polyketone fiber strength and to be used in an industrial fiber field. CONSTITUTION: A method for fabricating polyketone fiber comprises: a step of dissolving polyketone containing 90 mole% of more of ketone units in a metal salt solution containing zinc bromide to prepare a polyketone solution; a step of extruding/spinning the polyketone solution by a spinning nozzle and solidifying in an acidic solution to prepare a multi-filament; and a washing and drying the multi-filament and treating with emulsion for drawing. The strength, fineness, and extension of the polyketone fiber are 10-30 g/d, 500-30,000 denier, and 3-10%, respectively. The metal salt solution contains zinc bromide, calcium bromide, and lithium bromide.

A manufacturing method of polyketone fiber comprises the following steps of: producing a polyketone solution by dissolving polyketone containing a ketone unit of 90 mole % or greater in a resorcinol aqueous solution; spinning the polyketone solution through a spinneret(S1); gaining multifilament by coagulating the solution in a solidification bath(S2); and spinning the multifilament through a washing, drying and an emulsion treatment processes. In a washing bath(S3), washing liquid is flowed to a counter current direction.

    • A manufacturing method of polyketone fiber is provided to offer superior intensity by decreasing generation of a deterioration material through a bubble-removing process of materials at high temperature in a short time. A manufacturing method of polyketone fiber comprises the following steps of: producing a polyketone solution by dissolving polymetone containing a ketone unit of 90 mole % or greater in a resorcinol aqueous solution; performing a bubble-removing process in the polyketone solution; extruding the polyketone solution through a spinning nozzle; gaining multifilament through a coagulation process; and performing a washing(S3), a drying(S4), and an ointment(S6) processes with the multifilament. The content of the polyketone is 5 - 30 weight% about the resorcinol content. The bubble-removing process is performed under pressure of -650mmHg ~ -600mmHg with a thin film evaporation mode.
