    • PURPOSE: An environmentally-friendly method for purifying contaminated river water into clean river water using an automatic siphon passage opening and closing device is provided to naturally purify contaminated river water by firstly discharging clean river through a siphon passage. CONSTITUTION: An environmentally-friendly method for purifying contaminated river water into clean river water using an automatic siphon passage opening and closing device is as follows. A movable weir water gate(10) coupled to a hinge(11) is formed on footing concrete(100). A siphon plate(20) is formed on the top surface of the movable weir water gate. A water pressure plate(50) coupled to a water pressure plate control hinge(38) is formed on the top of the siphon plate. A cutoff plate hinge(52) coupled to an arm gear(25) and an automatic siphon passage opening and closing plate(33) coupled to a balance weight(55) are formed on the bottom end of the movable weir water gate.
