摘要： A method and a circuit for extracting clock of a patterned medium are provided to record or read a data according to the location of magnetic dots. A method for extracting clock of a patterned medium comprises the steps: detecting a magnetic signal recorded in the patterned medium wherein magnet dots are aligned at predetermined intervals using a magnetic detecting unit; detecting a timing when the absolute value of frequency of the magnetic signal is less than a predetermined value; and synchronizing the clock signal to the timing.

摘要： A method for extracting a clock of a patterned medium, a clock extraction circuit of a patterned medium, and a patterned medium are provided to match the timing of a clock signal to a magnetic dot accurately by synchronizing the clock signal to a detection timing of the magnetic signal of the magnetic dot. A method for extracting a clock of a patterned medium comprises the steps: detecting a magnetic signal recorded in the patterned medium having a magnetic part wherein magnetic dots are aligned at certain intervals for recording the magnetic signal, and a nonmagnetic part not recording the magnetic signal; and identifying a section where the absolute value of amplitude of the magnetic signal is continuously less than a certain value, and synchronizing the clock signal with the timing of start or end of the identified nonmagnetic part or a detection timing of the magnetic signal of the magnetic dot of the magnetic part following the nonmagnetic part.
