    • PURPOSE: A polyolefin resin composition for the wheel cover of a car is provided, which has the strength, the impact strength, the heat resistance and the hardness applicable to the wheel cover of a car and the improved coating property and does not generate the projection in the weld line generation part. CONSTITUTION: The polyolefin resin composition comprises 40-75 wt% of a super high crystalline olefin-based resin; 3-25 wt% of a polyolefin-based elastomer; and 5-30 wt% of an inorganic filler. Preferably the super high crystalline olefin-based resin has a melt index of 10-80 g/10 min and the isotactic peptide fraction of the homopolymer part of 96% or more, and is a copolymer the α-olefin selected from isotactic polypropylene, propylene-ethylene copolymer, propylene-1-butene copolymer, propylene-1-hexene copolymer and propylene-4-methyl-1-pentene copolymer, and propylene; a random copolymer; or their mixture.

    • PURPOSE: Provided is a polypropylene-organic clay composite with excellent flame retardant as well as mechanical properties and heat resistance improved by substituting an inorganic material with a flame retardant agent and modifying a polymeric resin with a certain material so that a chemical bond is made between inorganic material substituted with a flame retardant agent and the polymeric resin matrix. Also, a method for producing the composite is provided. CONSTITUTION: The polypropylene-organic clay composite comprises 1.0 to 30 wt% of a modified polypropylene containing a functional group (A component); 1.0 to 20 wt% of layered clay minerals organized with a free-halogen amine flame retardant agent bonded to the functional group of the A component or with a combination of a free-halogen amine flame retardant agent and an alkyl ammonium compound; and 50 to 98 wt% of polyolefin resin matrix in which the A component and the B component are dispersed.

    • PURPOSE: A flame retardant polypropylene resin composition is provided, which is improved in the flame retardancy and the mechanical strength and does not generate pollutant gases in combustion. CONSTITUTION: The flame retardant polypropylene resin composition comprises 46-80.5 wt% of a polypropylene-based resin; 16-27 wt% of a poly(ammonium phosphate); 1.5-12 wt% of a phenol-based aromatic phosphate ester compound; and 2-15 wt% of 1,3,5-triazine derivative. Preferably the polypropylene-based resin is a homopolymer, an impact copolymer or their mixture, and has a melting flow index of 0.1-40 g/10 min. The phenol-based aromatic phosphate ester compound is represented by the formula 1, wherein X is an allylene group; R1, R2, R3 and R4 are preferably an aryl group; and n is an integer of 1-5. The 1,3,5-triazine derivative is represented by the formula 2, wherein X is a morpholino group or a piperazino group; Y is a piperazine group; m is 1 or 2; and n is an integer of 1-50.
